As half of the fleet of the Azamara Cruise Line, the Azamara Quest provides the only deluxe-class service of any cruise line, a wholly original class of service that exists between premium and luxury.

History and Features of the Azamara Quest

Like its twin, the Azamara Journey, the Azamara Quest is a refurbished Renaissance Cruise ship, the R7. It is a smaller vessel, enabling the staff to provide the passengers with the attention usually reserved for a luxury cruise ships. The decor gives the impression that one is actually aboard a ship instead of the floating-palace feel that many larger cruise ships strive to perfect. Old-fashioned touches are prevalent, such as wood paneling. Oil paintings and similar artwork decorates the hallways, giving passengers the feeling of having traveled back to 1912.

As the twin of the Azamara Journey, the Azamara Quest has several of the same features. It has a main dining area, Discoveries Restaurant, and two specialty restaurants, the Prime C and Aqualina. These restaurants charge passengers for the privilege of dining there. However, the price of the ticket includes a complimentary meal at each restaurant. The Celebrity Cabaret provides the main evening entertainment. It offers several live performances by lounge bands and singing troupes as well as the occasional stand-up comic and a magician or two.
